Capital Campaign

the show must go on

The West Shore Theatre’s redevelopment includes restoring the existing original theater to the look and feel approximating its design in 1939 with the addition of a thrust stage. The stage will be used to present live small-scale theatrical and musical productions, concerts, film/multi-media programs, recitals, and a variety of community events. The theater may also incorporate open space in front of the stage for different purposes, such as an orchestra pit for live musical productions. The restoration will include the expansion of the lobby to provide a space for receptions; replacement of the snack bar with a state of the art concession stand featuring bar height seating and tables; the addition of two new accessible restrooms; the handicap accessible seating and more. We hope to add backstage space for a green room, catering kitchen and piano storage. To accomplish this, we are working to raise at least two million dollars for the first phase of the revitalization of the theatre.

You Can Help. Here's How...

Any and all donations are welcome and needed. Every donation is important, regardless of the amount. The number of people contributing is as important as the amounts. A larger number of donors or friends is a strong indication of community support. That goes a long way with other funders. So please join us at any level.
